Geronimo Volunteer Fire Department is one of nine volunteer fire departments in
Guadalupe County, Texas and serves an area of 65 square miles and a population of 8,000 people.

Geronimo VFD maintains one brush truck, one quick response truck, one pumper and one pumper/tanker.
Geronimo VFD shares mutual aid contracts with the surrounding volunteer and paid fire services.
Geronimo VFD provides medical first response and relies on Seguin Fire/EMS as its EMS transport provider.

Geronimo VFD holds one fundraising event during the year.
A Bar-B-Que and Auction are held on the first Saturday in October.
